UJS Language Institute will open a beginner Japanese class on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

This is an afternoon class for foreign residents who are already living in Japan. It is not a course for international students applying for a student visa.

The class is suitable for people who have never studied Japanese before, and for those who can speak some Japanese but have difficulty reading and writing hiragana, katakana, and kanji.

Class days: Monday to Friday
Days off: Saturday and Sunday
Summer/Obon holiday: August 8–16, 2026

Goal

Students will study basic Japanese for daily life and aim to become able to have simple daily conversations in Japanese through this 3-month intensive course.

Fees

Total: 195,000 yen
Admission fee and textbook/materials fee: 15,000 yen
Tuition fee: 180,000 yen
