《  Lian Han from China  》

UJS exceeded my expectations. The teachers are kind, the class sizes are small, and UJS provides a good study environment. UJS is not just a school, but it's also a family for me. My best friend is a Korean whom I met at UJS. After I graduate from UJS, I went to the graduate school of Waseda University and studied science and engineering. Now I work for Toshiba.

《 Kim Son Young from Korea  》

In my life, I'd never thought of Japan. However, a trip to Japan changed my view. I found that Japan has advanced awareness and diversity which accepts multiculturalism, and I've been attracted to Japan since then. I made up my mind to come to Japan and started to study Hiragana and Katakana. In the beginning, I couldn't even make an order in a restaurant. But later, I was motivated by the passion of the students in my class, and I decided to go to university. With the advice of the teachers, I passed the exam for Aoyama Gakuin University, School of Cultural and Creative Studies. I wasn't studying just to pass the exam. My goal is to acquire the language skills necessary for life, and I think that's why I could achieve a high score in the exam. That also helped me to learn economics, society, culture and the life in Japan as a whole. For me, UJS Language institute is like a treasure.

《  Yoon Hye Jin from Korea  》

Studying abroad in Japan was one of my dreams for a long time. My dream came true 2 years and 5 months ago. Experiencing different cultures was very interesting to me, and every day was like traveling to new places.
After studying at UJS for a year, I went on to a university. Entering the university would have been impossible without the help of wonderful teachers at UJS. The experiences I had at UJS, with kind teachers and friends who were like my family members, are important memories of my life that I will not forget.
I am now at Nihon Joshi University's clothing department. Nihon Joshi University has more than 100 years of history and is home to a number of great professors. The clothing department offers a variety of courses ranging from textile materials to fashion business. A professor is researching uniforms for astronauts. There is a tutoring system, where one senior student is always available to advise one international student in various aspects of student life including registering for classes and taking exams. I am happy to be able to make numerous friends at Nihon Joshi University and study at a great environment.
I am grateful for the teachers at UJS who supported me. Thanks to their support, I can enjoy my life in Japan.

《 Dalma and Jessica from Argentina  》

When I arrived in Japan, I didn't know any Japanese. Also, when my sister and I went out, we couldn't understand anything, even when we spoke in English. For that reason we started to learn Japanese. At school, we could make new friends. Also, the teachers are kind and funny, and when they teach Japanese, it is very easy to understand. Things are getting harder and harder because of Kanji. But we'll try! Thanks to the teachers, we have learned a lot, and many things have become possible. We will do our best! I want to be RRPP, and my sister wants to be a doctor. After going back to our country, we will make the most out of our experiences to make our dreams come true.

《 Bissu from nepal  》

I had a chance to talk to Japanese tourists in Nepal, and since then I have been interested in Japan. I started to learn Japanese from a Japanese teacher who came to Nepal to do volunteer work. But I realized I couldn't learn more in Nepal, and entered UJS. At UJS,
I learned not only Japanese but I also learned from the small matters such as how to use ATMs and convenience stores, to the big matters. I wanted to improve my conversational skills and I often went to the teachers' room. Teachers at UJS were always helpful and taught me the way to talk and manners. I only knew Tokyo with high-rise buildings. But I found the countryside is also beautiful when I participated in an extracurricular activity and went to Mt. Fuji. I graduated from UJS and entered the Department of Economics, Teikyo University. I've learned economics, politics, finance, securities, Japanese culture and more. I learned from a professor who was from the foreign operations department of a major trading firm.
It was very helpful to hear stories of Japanese companies’ overseas expansion. When I became a junior, I attended company information sessions 100 times, while other foreign schoolmates used their free time at part time jobs. I had 80 interviews, but it was fully rewarded. I had offers from 3 companies during the world financial crisis. Now I work in a telecoms company with 800 employees, which is located in Shibaura, Tokyo. It is 100% domestic trade and they didn't have to employ a foreigner, but I was the first employee, hired as a graduate. The company's policy and concept are great and I am very grateful that the company hired me. The first year, I was assigned to the sales department and I learned a great deal. Now I'm in the operations department. I enjoy watching myself growing every day. It is fun to keep moving forward, and I'm looking forward to going higher and higher. I still remember ta UJS teacher telling me "do your homework in the train." Now homework has changed to "Nikkei," "17 Things you should do in your 20’s" and "77 Laws that will make you Different in 3 Years." I've been keeping a diary since 8 months after entering UJS. Someday I want to make this into a book, and I want my future child and grandchild to read it.

《 Lii Shin-rong from Taiwan  》

Now I'm back in Taiwan, and I remember things which happened to me one after another while I was in Japan. The best decision that I made in Japan was to study Japanese at UJS. With the help of the dedicated and helpful teachers, my Japanese improved. Not only about Japanese, but I asked for advice every time I had difficulties.
I imagine there aren't so many foreign students who come to Japan with their families. Being away from your family might make you lonely sometimes. But UJS is like home in Japan. If you think of UJS as a home, the teachers and friends are your family in Japan. There won't be any time to feel lonely. I really appreciate the teachers at UJS, and I love everyone at UJS. I passed the JLPT 2 after studying at UJS for 9 months from the very beginning. I passed level 1 after 6 more months back in Taiwan. Thank you so much.

《  Shinoli from Sri Lanka  》

Japan is beautiful and there are many more good things than I imagined about Japan in Nepal.
I am very much amazed by the busy city and skyscrapers which I had never seen before.
But the thing I have been most impressed with is the Japanese train system. The teachers at UJS are very kind and the way they teach the Japanese language is perfect.
I had so much fun bowling as an extracurricular lesson, since it was the first time for me to do so. Now I've graduated from UJS and am learning about international information business.

《  Anthony  USA  》

I had lived in Japan for 5 years before, and was impressed by how friendly Japanese people are, and have become a big fan of Japan. I also like Japanese food, the culture here and traveling around this country.
I've been working in the medical field in the US, and now I want to work in the medical field in Japan next year. I need to improve my Japanese to make my dream come true, so I'm studying hard and learning at UJS. I enjoy the classes and the teachers are friendly and are helping me. I'm learning quickly and having fun!

《  Afzal from Bangladesh  》

My best memory at UJS was our trips to Tokyo Disneyland and Mt. Fuji. I was the only Bangladeshi in my class, so I was worried at first. But, I got along with students from other countries, learned various things from them, and had a lot of conversations with them in Japanese. It was great. The teachers were kind, fun, and sometimes strict. They are closest to me after my parents.
I like Physics and Mathematics, so now I am learning computer programs. Also, Ken Shimura's and Sanma Akashiya's TV shows are very interesting, so please watch their shows when you arrive in Japan.

《 Ma Xiao han from China  》

Hello, I am from LuoYang, China, and came to Japan on the first of April.
Teachers in UJS are very entertaining but once the class started, teachers and students are all become serious.
During the break, teachers and students would talk sometimes. There are students from different countries in UJS; people from Korea, Philipine, England, Romania, Nepal, Spain etc.
It is interesting that I could learn different culture. Teachers in UJS are all very helpful and kind.
This is the first time for me to come to Japan, and there are so many things which I don't know.
Teachers always help me, and I'm very thankful.
Now my Japanese are getting better, and get used to the life in Japan.
I enjoy studying Japanese here at UJS everyday.

《 Buena from Philippines  》

I came to Japan for work. I'm from the Philippines.
Since then I have been amazed by the genuine hospitality, respect, sincerity, and honesty that is deeply rooted in Japanese culture. To widen my knowledge at greener pastures, I entered UJS Language Institute. It may seem to be a small community, but inside provides a wide range of Japanese cultural experiences.
The UJS faculty is talented, and also so kind and generous that you could not ask for more. It's a great honor to be a member of the UJS community. I'm so glad.

《 Yu Cheng fei from China  》

Before I enter UJS, I don't know anything about Japanese. My Japanese were poor and I couldn't ask teacher even I had problems. I asked myself "What should I do?". I was worried.
But after I enter UJS, my concern disappeared. Teachers helped me in every way and gradually get used to a life in Japan. I settled down and could concentrate on studying.
Teachers gave us lessons with hand made materials. Other students sometimes said that we could actually feel happier than students from other Japanese schools.
I have noticed that it is important to build an environment for foreign students who could study at ease. A life at UJS became my precious treasure.
UJS is in Roppongi, Tokyo. The place near here is very busy and you can see Tokyo Tower.
It's big and tall. Please come and have a look if you have chance.
